BluePay Partners with Datacap to Release Certified US EMV Solution for Point of Sale

NAPERVILLE, IL (December 15, 2016) – BluePay, a leading provider of credit card processing solutions, has partnered with Datacap Systems and completed US EMV level 3 certification. As a result, this functionality provides BluePay and Datacap point of sale users the ability to accept US EMV transactions via an evolving list of PIN pads through a simple interface that reduces PCI scope.

An EMV-capable version of NETePay™ is available for download for all new installations and existing merchant upgrades. The integrated payments software for BluePay is certified to utilize the Telium 2 line of PIN pads from Ingenico that support EMV, MSR, PIN and NFC contactless transactions via a variety of devices. The available hardware options support signature capture, unattended, and mobile applications.

While BluePay currently offers its merchants card-present EMV transactions for POS devices connected directly to the card networks, the relationship with Datacap, and more specifically the use of the BluePay-compatible NETePay application, offers merchants a way to process these transactions through the existing BluePay Gateway, allowing them to take full advantage of the robust feature set offered by the award-winning payment platform.
