BluePay Achieves Rare Triple Customer Choice Honors at CNP Awards
NAPERVILLE, IL (June 7, 2016) – BluePay, a leader in providing secure omnichannel payment technology, is proud to announce it has won Customer Choice honors in three categories at The 2017 CNP Awards: Best E-Commerce Platform/Gateway, Best Payment Service Provider, and Best Subscription/Recurring Billing Solution. The awards were presented on May 24th, at the CNP Expo, in Orlando, Florida. BluePay was the only nominee to walk away with three awards, upping last year’s honors by one.
Presented by CardNotPresent.com, the 6th Annual CNP Awards are focused on recognizing the companies, programs, and solutions in the card-not-present market that have demonstrated exemplary performance over the last year.
Processing $14 billion in transaction volume annually and integrated with over 380 software platforms, the BluePay Gateway was recognized as a customer choice for Best E-Commerce Platform/Gateway for the second year in a row. To maintain its brand as a preferred payment platform, new functionality is continually being developed, while existing features are enhanced. Topping the list of accomplishments in 2016 included the launch of EMV transactions on the gateway, TokenShieldSM, and Account Updater.
Together with Datacap, BluePay introduced the ability for merchants to accept card-present EMV transactions from POS devices on the gateway using a compatible NETePay application. This functionality helps BluePay reduce its PCI scope, while helping its merchants lower their risk for card-present fraudulent transactions.
BluePay’s TokenShieldSM credit card and ACH tokenization service allows merchants to process transactions two ways – using customer-defined tokens or BluePay-defined tokens. Customer-defined tokens allow a merchant to use a custom identifier, rather than a transaction ID, to be sent as a token on a transaction.
Merchants with recurring billing customers stay current with payment card updates and reduce declined transactions by maintaining a seamless payment experience using Account Updater. With 30% of credit cards experiencing a change annually, offering this beneficial service to its merchants also helped BluePay win customer choice honors for Best Subscription/Recurring Billing Solution.
